After reviewing the investment options available within your Jackson account, we recommend updating your allocation to create a better balance among large cap, value, international, and sector investments.

Recommended Allocation

• 20% — JNL/American Funds Growth-Income, Fund 342
• 20% — JNL/Mellon Nasdaq 100 Index, Fund 222
• 10% — JNL/DFA International Core Equity, Fund 701
• 10% — JNL/Causeway International Value Select, Fund 126
• 20% — JNL/Newton Equity Income, Fund 606
• 10% — JNL/Mellon Utilities Sector, Fund 635
• 10% — JNL/Mellon Industrials Sector, Fund 369

Why We Are Recommending This Change

Market leadership has recently broadened beyond the large growth companies that drove much of the market’s previous performance. Value-oriented companies and areas such as industrials and utilities have become more competitive, while some growth strategies have experienced slower or less consistent results.

No investment style leads the market indefinitely. This recommendation does not eliminate growth. Instead, it maintains meaningful growth exposure while adding greater balance through value, international, utilities, and industrial investments.

The two large cap funds provide exposure to established U.S. companies through a combination of growth, income, and Nasdaq-based investments. The international funds diversify the portfolio outside the United States while combining broad international and value-oriented approaches.

JNL/Newton Equity Income strengthens the U.S. value portion of the portfolio and provides a counterbalance to the Nasdaq allocation. The utilities and industrials funds divide the sector allocation between a more defensive area of the market and an area that may benefit from manufacturing, infrastructure spending, and economic expansion.

This remains an aggressive, 100% equity allocation and will fluctuate with the markets. The recommendation is based on diversification and long-term positioning, not an expectation that any particular fund or investment style will lead the market in the short term. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

If you would like to move to this allocation, please reply to this email and let us know. We are also available to discuss the recommendation and answer any questions before making the change.

Thank you,
